Things to do

Your pets can also enjoy a holiday on the Holiday Coast.

Some important things to remember when taking your pets on holidays with you.

Consider whether your pet is comfortable and happy when travelling. If staying with friends or family find out before hand if your pet is invited too. Most pets function better in familiar surroundings so be sure to include your pet's favourite rug, toy, bowl, food etc. Make sure your pet has some sort of identification or a license tag.

While staying at your holiday destination, do not let your pet on the tables, chairs or beds. If the animal must be left alone in the room, place a "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door and inform the front desk.

A car-sick, unhappy animal can make a trip miserable for everyone, especially your pet. Some ill or physically impaired dogs and cats cannot withstand the stresses of travelling. If this is the case, leave your pet with a relative/friend or at a clean, well-run pet care park.

If camping with your animal, trouble can easily occur in country settings. Snakes, spiders and other creatures can bite or injure your pet. Therefore, keep your animal in sight and on a leash as they can damage the native wildlife and surroundings. Be considerate of other campers.

Please remember: NEVER NEVER leave your pet in the car. - You never know how long you're going to be.

If you have already arranged your accommodation and that doesn't allow you to have your beloved pet stay with you, why not bring them along and have them sleep at a Pet Park.
